Port d’Andratx, situated in the south-west of Mallorca, is considered to be the most beautiful harbor town of the island. The picturesque bay attracts tourists, celebrities and locals equally. They all enjoy the atmosphere of the area, which has managed to keep its original beauty and charm.
The bay of Port d‘Andratx is shaped into a protected natural harbor. Yachtsmen are drawn to this harbor and moor at the marina Club de Vela which has approx. 500 moorings. Fishing cutters throw out their anchors right next to gleaming white yachts while the crews enjoy the authentic life in one of the cafés, restaurants and boutiques situated along the marina. Life takes its course calmly here and invites you to forget time.
In the direct vicinity lies the bay of Cala Llamp. A turquoise colored half-moon nestled in the rocky ridge of the rugged shaped Muntanyes de Biniorella. Casa Toro snuggles up to the south west edge of these mountains. The hillside slopes down to the sea and gives the villa an uninterrupted view of the bay, the peninsula La Mola and Dragonera in the North West. On clear days even the silhouette of Ibiza becomes visible in front of the setting sun.
Casa Toro captures Mallorcas traditional architecture and gently incorporates all those elements that define a luxurious lifestyle into the prevailing rustic charme.
The Finca represents Mallorcas living culture and building tradition like no other dwelling. Casa Toro shows this reference of farm- and country homes in multifaceted ways. The building is set in a garden landscape offering typical Balearic vegetation, natural stone walls convey country charm and bossing crafted from local natural stone emphasize the Mallorquin identity, which is combined with contemporary living culture in Casa Toro.
From the garden level with its garage, state of the art movie theatre, sauna and gym one enters the living level via the elevator or the stairs. This living area opens itself up for the owner as a vast, communicative area. It expands into the outdoor areas comprising the Infinity pool, an open see-through fireplace, two dining areas and two outside kitchens. The cool patio forms the highlight of the approx. 890 square meter expanse with its two tall olive trees, one of which grows through a table. The top floor offers private refuges at the highest standard with two bedrooms and the master bedroom, and benefit from the divine view of the bay.
